Complete Stereo Upgrade (most popular) — you're replacing all four door speakers with aftermarket. You get a full 4-channel signal off the harness (front L/R + rear L/R). To add a subwoofer amp alongside, pair it with a 4-channel amp that has RCA passthrough outputs — you feed the sub amp off the passthroughs without needing a second harness or LOC.

Subwoofer Only — you're keeping the factory door speakers as-is and only adding a sub. The harness delivers a clean stereo L/R pair pulled from the factory radio that feeds your sub amp. Factory door speakers continue to run off the factory radio, untouched.

Pick based on what your amp accepts

• RCA Tips (High Level) — soldered Straight Wire RCA jacks carrying the factory speaker-level signal. Amp must accept high-level input through RCA. Standard on JL Audio, Kicker, Arc, Mosconi, newer Alpine, newer Rockford, Kenwood, Focal.
• Speaker Wire (High Level) — bare speaker-wire leads. For amps that need speaker-wire input or for running into an external LOC like the AudioControl LC2i. Skar, DD, Rockville, older Alpine/Rockford.
• Kicker KeyLOC Built-In (Sub Only) — includes a pre-tuned Kicker KeyLOC that flattens the factory radio EQ automatically and outputs clean RCA. No ForSCAN flash required.

One tuning note for non-amp Fords

The 2015-2020 Ford base radio applies a mild EQ curve and compression that you'll want to flatten before your final tune. Free fix: flash ForSCAN (Windows PC + OBD-II cable, fully reversible). Drop-in fix: pick the Kicker KeyLOC variant. Either way, your amp finally gets a true reference signal. An LC2i / LC7i will not fix the factory EQ — it's a level converter, not an EQ corrector.
