Pick based on what you're upgrading

Complete Stereo Upgrade (most popular) — you're replacing all four door speakers with aftermarket. You get a full 4-channel signal off the harness (front L/R + rear L/R). To add a subwoofer amp alongside, pair it with a 4-channel amp that has RCA passthrough outputs — you feed the sub amp off the passthroughs without needing a second harness or LOC.

Subwoofer Only — you're keeping the factory door speakers as-is and only adding a sub. The harness delivers a clean stereo L/R pair pulled from the factory radio that feeds your sub amp. Factory door speakers continue to run off the factory radio, untouched.

Pick based on what your amp accepts

  • RCA Tips (High Level) — soldered Straight Wire RCA jacks carrying the factory speaker-level signal. Amp must accept high-level input through RCA. Standard on JL Audio, Kicker, Arc, Mosconi, newer Alpine, newer Rockford, Kenwood, Focal.
  • Speaker Wire (High Level) — bare speaker-wire leads. For amps that need speaker-wire input or for running into an external LOC like the AudioControl LC2i. Skar, Sundown, DD, Rockville, older Alpine/Rockford.
  • Kicker KeyLOC Built-In (Sub Only) — includes a pre-tuned Kicker KeyLOC that flattens the factory radio EQ automatically and outputs clean RCA. No ForSCAN flash required.

One tuning note for non-amp Fords

The factory radio applies a mild EQ curve and compression that you'll want to flatten before your final tune. Free fix: flash ForSCAN (Windows PC + OBD-II cable, fully reversible). Drop-in fix: pick the Kicker KeyLOC variant. Either way, your amp finally gets a true reference signal.

Not 100% sure which variant fits your build? Call or text 615.610.1413 — 60 seconds on the phone beats a return shipment.

Great product

I order from SGS and had it within a few days. You can see the quality of the work when it's in your hands. Very happy already placed another order. Hope to place a 3rd one soon. Don is great. Emails back fast always available to answer questions

Custom Harness

I noticed that a couple of the most recent reviews for this product were not good, but I'm going to say it was user error. This harness made my install a breeze. I ended up using deutsch connectors behind the Sounds Good amp rack. Truly made the install plug and play. If you have any incling of doing this yourself and are so inclined, this is a must for new amp installs in the F-150.

Holy smokes!

MAN i am glad i purchased this, i did not realize how much of a difference it would make in my signal strength compared to tapping into the rear speakers. I had to turn all my settings down after this install. And speaking of install, that was pretty easy too, maybe 30 mins start to finish.

Great product / Fantastic Customer Service

I bought a non amplifies t-harness paired with the kicker KeyLOC. The fit and finish of this setup is fantastic. All wiring including the Power Wire kit fit perfect, come with protective sheathing and cable ties. I called with a few questions and Don sent me YouTube videos with time stamps to assist in wire routing questions.

Horrible harness. Not only did they take almost a month to ship it they sent me a 4 door harness when I put it was for a single cab. Since the first time I plugged it in i’ve had problems with audio cutting in and out and now after doing everything I can to try and make the harness work it stopped giving right side audio all together. Waste of time and money will not be ordering from here again.

Hi Logan, we're sorry to hear you ran into trouble, and we'd like to clear a few things up — both for you and for anyone else considering this harness.

1. Why it's a 4-channel: Even single and standard cab trucks use the same ACM (factory radio), and the rear channels can be activated with FORScan. That means you can use the radio's fade control as a subwoofer level if you'd like. We build it this way so every customer has that flexibility, whether or not they use it.

2. About the RCA tips you selected: RCA outputs on this harness carry speaker-level signal. If your amplifier doesn't have a built-in line output converter (LOC), plugging these straight in can short out your factory radio. Please unplug the RCAs right away and check your amp's owner's manual to confirm how it accepts speaker-level inputs before reconnecting.

3. Grounding: Run your amplifier's ground directly to the battery. Grounding to the cab — even the factory ground point on the rear wall — will cause noise and performance issues. Battery ground only.

4. Shipping: You're right that your order took longer than it should have — 8 business days (ordered the 18th, shipped the 30th). 99% of our products ship within 1–2 days, but other items on your order held it up. We apologize for that.

5. Please call us. These trucks are all we do, and we're happy to walk you through the technical side and get your system sounding the way it should. We're available Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm CST.

Thanks again, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Good Build Quality

Was great to have plug-n-play! The only issues was the Kicker Keylock side of the harness didn't include the remote turn on wire. I had to add that by cannibalizing the Keylock pigtail that came in the box of the Keylock.

Base Non-Amplified Factory Stereo - Custom Radio Integration subwoofer harness.

Waste of time, was sent 2 harnesses. Neither functioned with factory speakers let alone had the capability to add a subwoofer. Customer service is terrible. They are terrible about responding to any email. Waited 2 months for the first harness and made multiple attempts to contact store. After installation got ahold of someone and they sent a replacment. That one didn't work either. I will not be purchasing from this company for any reason in the future.

2022 f-150 base stereo wire harness

This piece of gear is absolutely perfect. It is extremely well made, stream lined, and interfaces perfectly leaving a clean , and factory style integration with the vehicle. I was hesitant at first due to cost, but I am glad I decided to pull the trigger. The staff eagerly answered all my questions beforehand, and made me feel comfortable that I would be able to make my system come alive..

2021 f150 non b and o harness

Great harness. This is the way to plug and play no factory wire cutting at all. These guys are top notch. They will answer any questions you may have and are willing to make sure you are satisfied after the sale.

Made install a breeze

Best T-Harness available for the 2021 trucks. Everyone else either makes you buy amps through them to get the harness, or doesn't allow you to mount all of your equipment where you want it. (This harness allows you to mount everything behind the rear seats, including crossovers). Quality is top notch, fully sleeved with techflex and labeled.

Customer Service at SGS is better than crutchfield. Texted them during my install with minor questions and they were very responsive and helpful. Don't hesitate to buy from them

I have a 2023 f250 non Bo stero, i am teying get a harness that will run to a jpl vx800-8I dsp amp i will be replacing all door speakers and have an enscloser for subs under the seat, i would like a pkug and play harness

Sounds Good Stereo

Correct harness. If you are using ForSCAN to turn off the factory EQ, choose RCA for the JL Amps. If you are not using ForSCAN, then you will need to choose Kicker KeyLOC as the option.

Im looking to add a JL audio 300/4 and a JL audio powered sub to my 2022 ford bronco no b/o system using a Audio Control lc6i what harness do I need and are there instructions only to review

Sounds Good Stereo

You will need this harness, but you need to decide how you will fix the factory EQ. You can either use ForSCAN to turn off the EQ or choose "With Kicker KeyLOC" on our page to fix the EQ. We have limited videos on the Bronco as we specialize in the F-Series trucks more. But the harness is plug and play, but all stereo upgrades require a certain level of knowledge to pull off.

Is the 21PlusFordTHarness-SpeakerWire a "loop back" style harness? I want to amplify my door speakers but don't want to run new wire to each speaker, I assume from looking at the pictures that the part of the harness that appears to be actual speaker wire gets connected to an amplifier output and then feeds the signal back to the "T" part of the harness and then feeds the door speakers through the trucks factory wiring from that point, but I want to be sure before purchasing the harness

Sounds Good Stereo

Yes. it is a "loop back" style harness. Includes the signal + the four door speaker wires in the harness.

I’m looking to add Skar audios dual 10” box with a single amp in the back. Would I still need the loc from pac or would this integrate everything it does. And if it still needs it would I still need the load generators they recommend?

Sounds Good Stereo

Depends on if your amplifier already has a LOC built-in. What model number amplifier? Does it have a switch that says Hi/LOW on it? If it does not, you will need a LOC. If you are using ForSCAN to turn off the factory EQ, you can then choose Speaker Wire to feed into your LOC. If you are not using ForSCAN, you will want to choose the "With Kicker KeyLOC" option as it will act as a LOC + Fix the factory signal so you actually have bass when you hookup your new gear.

Seth

It appears this harness is designed with length in mind to add all of your equipment behind or under the back seat, is that correct? Will this harness allow me the ability to add a Kicker Key 200.4 amp for the door speakers and also the ability to add an additional amp, and subs later on down the road? I'm looking for a harness that is versatile without having to change anything later. Thanks for your time.

Sounds Good Stereo

Yes, this harness will allow you to do it. You will choose "Complete Stereo Upgrade" + "Speaker Wire". Then later, you can utilize the front speaker signal to feed into your other amplifier later.

b
bowdy wachs

do you need a line output converter with this? I am i using a kicker 46CXA8001 amp… is this compatible? how exactly would i hook this up to that amp?

Sounds Good Stereo

No, the amplifier already has one built in. The button is right next to the RCA inputs

C
Common sense

How did you get $235 out of 80 dollars worth of product ? oh $100 in flex loom right ?

Sounds Good Stereo

Here is how it adds up:
- High-Quality Male/Female Connectors
- Embedded Load resistors per channel
- Embedded PAC TR4 for DC Offset Remote Turn-on
- 18 wires, 17ft long, pure OFC Copper Cabling
- Techflex Sleeving (Not bootleg), 17ft
- In-House Technician labor (Solder, heat shrink, label, test, etc)
- Shipping to your door

C
Chad Swenson

Are load resistors integrated into the harness? If so is the harness available without them?

I would like to bring both sides of all four channels behind the seat but I do not plan to install an amp right away. For now I plan to install passive crossovers behind the rear seat and drive a set of new speakers from the factory head unit with new wiring for the tweeters. I would like to add a 4 or 6 channel amp in the future and it would be convenient to not have to rewire the head unit. Can I just add the load resistors near the amp at that point?

Sounds Good Stereo

Hey Chad, so we embed the load resistors into the harness when we build it. To change our manufacturing method would cost more than just adding them now. It will not harm anything to have them in the harness running the factory speakers.

Hello
I got a Ford f-150 XLT super crew comes with the 12 in screen head unit bit but only has 4 speakers and the tweeters, so comes with base sound system
I need to install Dps audison bit nove and 3 amps but I would like to know if you have plug & play harness for to install this dps

Sounds Good Stereo

This harness is exactly what you need to connect your DSP. Depending on the DSP, you will need to find out how it accepts speaker level inputs, either through RCA or Speaker Wire. Every DSP is a little different.

J
Jake Williams

I have a '21 F150 XLT with base stereo. I have already replaced door speakers and my next step is to add a single 8" or 10" sub and a 5-channel amp to power everything. I've been told I need an LOC plus a Ford T-Harness. Will your harness replace the need for both items? Is this essentially and all-in-one solution?

Sounds Good Stereo

If you use ForSCAN to turn off the EQ, you will not need the signal correction device like the Kicker KeyLOC. Regarding a LOC, that depends on if your amplifier already has one built-in or not. Reach out to us with the amplifier model number and we can look it up.
