Installed the front and rear block off plates along with some sound deadening. Installation was fairly easy, just make sure you use the alignment holes for the front doors so the door panel aligns with the recessed portion of the plate.
After the install, I noticed a significant reduction in the muddiness of my speakers. All in all, this upgrade is well worth it!
I purchased this harness and the infinite baffle block off plate together for my 2025 F350. Both were super high quality and saved me the time of figuring out what connectors I need and what wires needed spliced to get the feed to my kicker key500.1 amp.
I had a couple other questions and when I called the SGS guys they were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on the phone.
Worth every penny. Got me up and running in no time. I paired this with a pair of Rockford shallow 8's behind the seat and the performance is incomparable vs the factory "subwoofer".
Will absolutely go straight to SGS for any future needs.
The harness is exactly what was needed to tap into factory signal for after market amp. Only problem I ran into is my new amp is mounted 2-3 feet away from the factory amp and this harness is pretty short, so I had to go searching on amazon for the 4-pin extensions, which I could only find in 8" segments (made of computer uses). Definitely would be nice if SGS sold some extensions that could be purchased along with the harness so buyers could be sure they're getting the right products and they're all arriving together. But that said, their harness makes life easy, and shipping was fast! Plug and (wait for extensions and...) play! ;)
I wish they listed the time frame that it will take to complete your order. I had no updates until I decided to message them 2 weeks after I ordered and was told it would take about 2 weeks since the brackets had to be custom made. It ended up being delayed until almost a month before my product was shipped. That was my only gripe. The product was great and packaged well. I would've gladly waited a month so as long I was made aware of the wait instead of sitting around wondering and having to follow up with them multiple times.
Ordered mine in early February and they gave an ETA of mid April so it arrived today even a little early.
The attention to detail is really nice. Even the packaging was done really well. The enclosure fits perfect and sounds great. They don’t market this as an SPL enclosure but it definitely moves some air.
My only complaint, as it is with any behind rear seat enclosure, is the way the seat folds up now. It will fold up and latch but you really have to He-Man it into place. Not a huge deal since there is no forward facing woofer to damage. Not sure if there is something on the seat back I can trim. I will have to investigate.
