Wow! I’ve been building boxes for over 20 years, and doing my own installs. This time I wanted something that just looked better for this new truck. After doing a lot of research, I found Sounds Good Stereo. Don and the team here just have such a strong reputation, after seeing this set up I knew it was what I wanted.
Don and his team are extremely knowledgeable on exactly how to build the right box for the cabins in these trucks. Case in point, they test everything in house, send it tuned for the trucks. The cabin gain, frequency’s you should expect, amount of sound quality, power requirements, everything, Don can tell you exactly what to expect… and answer any questions about what you need based off your listening to.
I will never buy any part of my sound system from anywhere else, got a customer here for life! I can’t wait to continue to expand my system through Don and his team. I’ve got four kids that will be driving these trucks as well, that’s four more sound systems that will be through here, not even a second guess. I can’t wait!

I got just the adapter plates for front 6x9 to 6.5 and the rear 6.5. Quality adapter plates. Good and thick. Solid mounting surface for the new speakers. Not like the cheaper ABS plastic adapters. One draw back for my installation (2016 Ford Explorer XLT) was that the pre drilled holes did not line up at all with the holes actually used by the factory speaker. While not a problem for myself but might be for others that are not good at fabrication (I.e. drilling new holes). In the end, the plates fit well with new holes drilled and better sound was achieved with better speakers.
I decided to do an upgrade. Changed out the door speakers and added the a-pillar speaker kit with the Focal Flax kit. The quality of the custom a-pillars is top notch. I even added their own subs they came out with. They tuned everything before they sent it. The truck sounds amazing. I was really surprised by how much sound comes out of 2 small subs in their custom enclosure. The customer service is top notch. They really know how to take care of the customer and that is really appreciated these days. I would not hesitate at all to recommend them to anyone in need for an upgrade.
I bought the sub and amp rack last year. Ran it for awhile and then decided I needed to upgrade to DSP. I had doubt about the size of the subs . It had great base with the Key amp but now I put an Audison mono amp 1000 watt at 1 ohm, turned down gain to match sub. And wow. I had to go to empty parking lot to listen to some EDM.
Awesome product backed up by even better customer service. When choosing a new amp I called and a real person answered! He took the time to look up some amps and gave me suggestions. Thank you!!
Easy to install and great amp rack
The box with the subs and amp arrived very well packaged, not damage at all. Install went smoothly, everything you need comes with the package (other than tools). Just plug everything up and its ready to go. The look and sound exceeded even my high expectations.
You absolutely nailed it with this product! It fit perfectly in my 2015 Toyota Tundra—no modifications needed. Just screw it into place with the provided screws, and you're all set.
Let me tell you, This place is awesome! I truly appreciate them. I was on a search to install my truck stereo, but with these new technical crap they put in our cars and trucks with all these electronics, its hard to find a good product, and also good support to know what you need so you don't get upsold on crap you don't need. I spent 6 months planning out my audio setup! I was going in between 3 different setups with amp. After talking to SGS about what I need or my plans they got me straight. Told me what I needed! I had a hard time believing, but I listened to them and glad I did. Wow! They saved me a lot of time and money just getting this harness with rca connections direct to the amp. I did not have to buy a LC2 or any other stuff. Just subs, amp , wire and the adapter! This place is awesome and plan to buy again from them again!
Plugged right in on the 22 f150, b&o unleashed. Only complaint i have is the engine noise coming through the subwoofer but thays not the keylocs fault. I heard forscan can disable that feature luckily.
This is how the B&O Unleashed bass should have been setup from the factory. If you’re on the fence just do it, you won’t regret it.
