By NAV-TV — the signal processor we use in every SGS Plug-and-Play package for Ford B&O, Revel, and (new) compatible 2025+ GM vehicles.
The ZEN-A2B Plus (NTV-KIT1033) replaces your factory amplifier and converts your vehicle's digital A²B (Automotive Audio Bus) signal into clean, high-resolution 6-channel analog RCA output — the connection we recommend for every build. One unit covers both 2018–2024 Ford B&O / Revel and 2025+ GM (Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, Buick) — flip a dipswitch to tell the Plus which bus it's on.
What's new versus the original ZEN-A2B:
-
Dual-manufacturer support — Ford and GM, dipswitch-selectable.
-
Burr-Brown DAC with a bit rate up to 192 kHz (audiophile-grade preamp).
-
Ford ACM control — on Ford B&O vehicles, the Plus now DSPs and controls the front headunit/ACM outputs, not just the rear amp. Ford B&O is bi-amplified, so this unlocks higher channel counts at lower cost and eliminates the need for a separate speaker-output harness — install is dramatically simpler than with the original ZEN-A2B.
-
Completely flat audio output — no factory time delay, no factory EQ. Eliminates the need for summing devices, a separate correction DSP, or removing the factory compensation microphones.
113 dB signal-to-noise ratio. 32-bit floating-point DSP. Burr-Brown DAC at up to 192 kHz. You feed a high-end Gladen, Focal, or JL Audio system the source it deserves — no PAC-style bottleneck.
Why we recommend RCA over the optical (TOSLink) output: the RCA path keeps the signal in the NAV-TV's Burr-Brown DAC all the way to your amplifier — which is the whole reason you're buying this unit. Going out optical forces your amplifier's internal DAC to do the conversion instead, and most amp DACs aren't in the same league. TOSLink is there for rare setups with a serious outboard DSP. For 99% of Ford B&O and GM builds, RCA is the right answer.
