These are much nicer and thicker than other options I’ve seen. Fits my JL Audio C3 theaters perfectly.

The OEM tweeter mounts are curved so they fit down inside the A pillar cover. The custom ones are flat so there is a large gap between the adapter and the tweeter opening. The hole size in the adapter is meant to allow the use of the new tweeters housing which is threaded on the outside and can be secured to a flat surface with an included plastic nut. Unfortunately between the gap and the thickness of the tweeter housing there is not enough room for the A pillar cover to fit. I ended up removing the tweeter from its housing and glued it in place with silicon adhesive.

I have a 2019 F-150 and ordered the adapters for JL c3-100 and one side fit almost perfectly but did require negligible cutting of my a-pillar which the page said cutting was only necessary for larger sizes. One side did not fit at all and I had to break one of the screw holes and kinda snug it to one side with the screw on top of the tab. Definitely NOT custom since it didn’t fit right on my truck, definitely generic sizes.

When installing speakers all over my expedition, I found certain speakers did not fit or accept the same size mounting even though they are advertised as the same "socket hole" -- 3 1/2 for instance. With SGS help I was able to overcome my front 2 corner speaker fitments and then with this product, I was able to fit my JL c7 3.5" center speaker with a PERFECT fit. I was so excited to see how well engineered the simple mount piece was -- and rigid! I was able to pop 4 screws and mount the speaker to the plastic piece SGS sent me and then put it into the center console space. It even aligned with the small helper pins to line it up with the factory screw holes and center the device perfectly as if it was OEM! I couldn't be more impressed! I am now looking at my rear mount speakers thinking I may pull the trigger again so I get everything just right. This needs to be advertised to those like me that a solution exists and it is not only affordable but well designed and executed! Thank you SGS one again!

Great product! Excellent fit! Outstanding customer service!! I originally ordered the wrong size for my tweeters. I called and spoke to John, to inquire about sizing info and learned I had an older version. John and his team swiftly sent out the correct size with measurements I provided. That set came in damaged from the shipping co. I emailed John to inquire whether or not I had to file a claim with the shipping company. Fully expecting to have to file a claim. John quickly made it right by sending another set out. The final set came in undamaged. I instantly installed the tweeters. The fit was amazing and attached to the a pillar just like the factory ones. Hats off to the Sounds Good Team for providing outstanding customer service and producing and excellent product.

The part is a perfect fit for the truck and the tweeter. The best part is the service from SGS. UPS failed to deliver the product. All it took was one quick phone call to these guys, and a new part was en route. I will definitely stop by for Ford stereo equipment.
