Are you looking for a well-engineered, great-performing enclosure that goes behind your rear seat in your F-Series? If so, you have come across the right solution. What makes this enclosure unique is that it allows full functionality of the rear seat, without touching your subwoofers when lifted in the upright position.
While you may think a larger subwoofer is better, you are half right. Larger subwoofers require larger enclosures if you want a high level of performance, without internal airspace, the low bass will fall on its face. Bigger is better, but what you mean to say, isBigger the Enclosure the better, not subwoofer size.
So how are we able to squeeze out so much performance from small-diameter drivers? It's a mix of science and experience. The main benefit of our enclosure is its vented (Ported) design, this allows higher efficiency over a traditional sealed enclosure. Think turbocharger on an engine, the displacement of the engine might be smaller, but horsepower goes up. This vent we can manipulate to work with the acoustics of the truck, whereas a sealed enclosure, you have very limited ways to "tune" the output.
As you might know, we work with an amazing brand JL Audio that makes some pretty amazing shallow subwoofers. So why do we not utilize those drivers in our enclosures? Simply put, the vented design of our enclosure delivers better performance in this exact application. The second part, is if you face a subwoofer forward, it will touch the seat and damage the subwoofer, nobody wants that.

Installation requires slight modification to the rear carpet panel. The photo below shows the section that needs to be removed.
Best 'bang' for you 'buck'! I listen to just about everything. This setup answers all of it. Curtis Mayfield, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Local H and Fugazi all sound amazing. I found the highs and lows were spot on. Guitar solos came to life. and vocals rang out. The mids were a bit lite to me. Tweaking the EQ on the deck solved that. I know you can spend big bucks but my commute to work and back are fantastic now!
Why did I wait this long? The install was as about as straight forward as you get. The install kit was AMAZING. They thought of everything. The passthroughs to the cab were genius. The harness to the deck was the perfect length and plug and play. Thats before you get the real sound you thought you had paid up for in fancier truck. I wasted my money with Ford and should have saved it for these guys.
Be ready to be amazed! Watch the video a BUNCH of times before you attempt it. I ended up removing the seats to get more sound deadening in there, easier and vacuum up a bunch of dog hair. Get ready to take your time and be patient; it will pay off. What gets me is was the factor setup had no real quality sound and flatlined out on the louder volume. The warmth and punch you get with this carries over through all the volume levels.
Absolutely soup to nuts the best kit you can buy. Between the install videos that they skip no step on, the hardware provided and the packaging, its amazing. My truck has a few pieces removed and I had no idea the drone it created until i started working on the sound deadening. If I could do it again, I would pay up for the additional tiles around the speakers.
Takes the guesswork out of everything. I installed a complete system in one day. Didn't have to source all the parts or guess on which size fuses to use. Worth every penny to have it done right.
