I took my F150 to pro tuner after finishing my install, 9 channel DSP. The guy went on and on about the sub performance during the tune he set the crossover at 25 Hz. Today I got a follow up message from him.
“it’s honestly a great setup you have. I’m very surprised by how low the subs play as well, plus it doesn’t take up any space at all”
You can tell this is a quality product the moment you open the box. Extremely well packaged with items clearly labeled. If you have even the slightest technical ability this system can be installed in a few hours. No physical instructions are included but you can find what you need on the website or via YouTube. Once the system is in, it sounds amazing. I was a little concerned how it would sound, but I couldn’t be more impressed.
The performance is great out of these two shallow mount subs. The enclosure fits perfectly, no issues. I used banana connectors from the amplifier (Rockford Power 1000). I highly suggest sound deadening material inside your truck for better acoustics. Yes, you can feel the subs shake through your body. They have not clipped at all, except on the initial tune. There is a break in period. You’ll feel like you’re back in high school all over again. Best price I found (new) was from SGS.
I Upgraded my 2019 F150 w/ JL audio stealth box to a 2024 f150 and the standard B&O 8 speaker just does not have enough sub.
So I picked up the Stealth v2" Behind the Seat Subwoofer Plug & Play System Upgrade & I love it. I will definitely recommend if you’re looking for a stealth box. No one will know you have subs until you want them too.
one suggestion to the sound good team the 2024 f150 back wall is different than your must recent video. so your install video needs updated for new location of the amp, the power & the sub controller. But The team was awesome I called with a few questions and they walked me right through it.
Other than it’s a super easy install , true plug in play and they provide everything but the sockets .

These were a perfect fit in my charger and really made a difference in sound quality over the cheap crap plastic units available elsewhere.
Worked out great, made mounting my amp and on components easy and effortless. Great product very durable.
These are probably workable, but the mounting area is more like 3-7/16" - so a speaker with an actual 3-1/2" diameter will not fit without some modification. The inner diameter farther down is also a little snug, so getting wires on the speaker terminals will require some modifications to that as well.
Overall, not bad and the quality of the plastic is good. They just aren't a drop-in upgrade.

Wow! I’ve been building boxes for over 20 years, and doing my own installs. This time I wanted something that just looked better for this new truck. After doing a lot of research, I found Sounds Good Stereo. Don and the team here just have such a strong reputation, after seeing this set up I knew it was what I wanted.
Don and his team are extremely knowledgeable on exactly how to build the right box for the cabins in these trucks. Case in point, they test everything in house, send it tuned for the trucks. The cabin gain, frequency’s you should expect, amount of sound quality, power requirements, everything, Don can tell you exactly what to expect… and answer any questions about what you need based off your listening to.
I will never buy any part of my sound system from anywhere else, got a customer here for life! I can’t wait to continue to expand my system through Don and his team. I’ve got four kids that will be driving these trucks as well, that’s four more sound systems that will be through here, not even a second guess. I can’t wait!
Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. Install is so quick and easy with all the wiring perfectly and professionally prepared. Literally just plug and play!
I got just the adapter plates for front 6x9 to 6.5 and the rear 6.5. Quality adapter plates. Good and thick. Solid mounting surface for the new speakers. Not like the cheaper ABS plastic adapters. One draw back for my installation (2016 Ford Explorer XLT) was that the pre drilled holes did not line up at all with the holes actually used by the factory speaker. While not a problem for myself but might be for others that are not good at fabrication (I.e. drilling new holes). In the end, the plates fit well with new holes drilled and better sound was achieved with better speakers.
