"Stealth V2" Ford F-Series Truck Driver Side Behind-the-Seat Subwoofer Enclosure with Amp Rack

Had this system installed by the guys at Sounds Good Stereo. Best money I have spent so far on my truck. Bass is incredible, the sound damping is incredible. 10 out 10, highly recommend. Looking forward to having the guys upgrade the rest of my system.

I purchased and installed the Focal flax evo 7-channel system in my F150 lightning. Wow, what a difference, the sound quality is amazing no matter what type of music I play! The system is really well designed and built. The quality of the setup and the workmanship are excellent. Installation was straightforward and a fun weekend project. The videos are very helpful and Sage and Don were also happy to talk through a few modifications over the phone. As I was installing the system, I realized one connecter was wrong. SGS immediately made me an adapter and had it express shipped to me overnight. That level of customer service really puts SGS in a class all by themselves. I highly recommend Sounds Good Stereo and this upgrade if you want great sound in your F150.

Not to pick on the other reviews, but I don't feel they give this system the accolades it deserves. Wow.... Wow. The change in sound quality is out of this world. The power, the bass, the mids and highs. All incredible. The other thing about this kit that is a very pleasant surprise is how much quieter the cabin of the truck is with the sound deadening. Huge difference. I highly recommend!!!

I had this sub installed as part of a SoundsGood stealth package for my 2020 F150 SuperCrew with the factory B&O system. It system plays much louder and always clearer than the factory system This was exactly what I wanted.

The behind the seat sub is amazing. I knew it would be an improvement over the factory 8" sub, but it plays deeper and louder than I expected from two 6.5" drivers. They really did a great job with the design and construction of the sub.

I had the team at SoundsGood handle the installation. You can tell they take pride in their work with attention to detail that I have not observed elsewhere.

Since this is a stealth setup, there isn't much to see in the way of pics, but I will upload a couple of the setup behind the back seat.

I bought this system shortly after I bought my 2020 F250. which was around Feb 2023. I waited patiently and installed it upon arrival in about 2 full days and have been waiting to review it for a while. I have had systems in every car I owned pretty much, from basic cheap stuff to having K2's. These plug and play systems were appealing to me as they are tuned and ready to go but I still get to do the install which I like and helps me be able to trouble shoot it if need be. The listening experience was different for me as I tend to like a bit of a harsh tweeter and always had 10's or 12's for bass. It took a bit for me to get used to cranking the volume so high and having the listening experience so balanced. I am absolutely pleased with the sound of the system and the range it has for my musical taste. I listen to mostly SXM or Spotify and my taste goes from EDM to country to SXM Fly, SXM Turbo to Podcasts. No matter what am listening to I am pleased with the sound. The install vids they have online are amazing as well. I got mine on GovX which is greatly appreciated by the SGS team to provide that as an option.

Wow, my truck sounds so balanced. I will be upgrading the speakers later with their speaker kit to get more sound quality and volume. There is no hard part to installing this its just time-consuming but the sound material makes all the difference in the world. They have top-notch custom service. Tryst me it was worth the wait. Don and the family went above and beyond on the install in my 2022 Lariat.
Sage, Nathan, and "Barnie" spent hours getting a custom tune done for my hard rock ears and everything else sounds great as well.
Definately will be taking them another bottle of Kentucky bourbon the next time I'm down that way.
They care which is rare these days.

I have a 2025 F-150 Platinum Plus with B&O
Unleashed and the PowerBoost. This is a great package, both are excellent quality! The instructions tell you to remove the factory jack, but that wasn't really an option for me. I got to looking and noticed I could rotate the jack mount 180° and it would bolt right on top of the amp racks mounts! This leaves about 2" between the amp rack and the jack when fully installed. This left me plenty of room to mount my NavTV Zen Power 9 (F25) to power the door speakers and an audio control 800.1 for the sub. This is an EXCELLENT combination, the NavTV DSP and power output for the door speakers is phenomenal, makes the factory B&O speakers come to life. The NavTV also has a 500 watt RMS subwoofer output that will power this sub perfectly for most people, but I found it to be a little underwhelming for me personally and wanted more power so added the AudioControl to the NavTVs preamp out which also has full DSP control. Sounds phenomenal for the basic plug and play setup. NavTV recommends running a dedicated power AND ground to the 12v battery under the hood. However, this being a PowerBoost, there's already a 12v AUX battery under the rear passenger seat. This battery is on its own 125 amp fuse with a 6ga wire straight from the battery junction box under the hood. I'm powering both amps straight from the 12v AUX battery with zero issues. Under full load, there's less than 0.5v of voltage drop between the terminals on the amps and the under hood battery. There's mixed reviews online of people doing this, so do it at your own risk, the way the PowerBoosts electrical system works, I think this is a better solution instead of pulling power from the under hood battery IMO. My one complaint, and I will probably fix this, is the included nylon spacers that lift the amp rack off of the floor 3/4 of an inch. This is an issue because the top right of the amp rack is pushing up against the bottom of the TCM connectors pretty hard, I'm worried over time they will break. Overall a solid product, they really should inform their customers you can reinstall the jack by simply flipping the mount. I will say when the bottom of the seat is folded up, there is some contact with the amps, but not too much to worry about and I rarely fold my seats up.

I had been searching for an option that would give me more bass on my 2023 F-350 Lariat with B&O Unleashed. After reading the reviews, I pulled the trigger on ordering this sub enclosure with the Sound Treatment kit. I am beyond happy with the results. It is a perfect balance of bass for the B&O. These 6.5" subs are very impressive. Enclosure is engineered perfectly for behind the seat. I highly recommend getting the Sound Treatment package as well. The sound is more full, doesn't have the hollow effect without the treatment. And best of all, with my music cranked to the max that I listen to, NO RATTLES on the outside of truck. Had enough to do all 4 doors (inside and out), all 4 door panels, and the rear panel of the cab.

For those that are on the fence, trust this review that you won’t have worries, regrets, or disappointments.

Yes granted there is a bit of waiting for delivery however what would you expect for a custom tailored do it yourself system. It takes some time however once received you’ll know why.

Packaging is first class and I mean first class. That alone should tell you that the level of execution and care to provide quality matters. High quality materials, equipment, and tools to aid in a successful install.

Doing this yourself might seem a little daunting but there are plenty of videos online that lay this out. Yes it may not be your exact truck however for the most part is. Just take your time and do things right. Very straight forward.

Results aren’t disappointing. It’s a significant upgrade from the stock system. Roll off that plagues Ford’s alongside some kick goes a long way. Let’s be clear, these aren’t a set of 12 inch hammers with a 1000 plus watts vibrating you in the seat however if your looking to step things up with a reasonable budget you won’t be disappointed.

Lastly the customer service is responsive, detailed, and willing to help. Satisfaction matters to these folks.
