Well packaged and great communication. The are a perfect match for my Focal mid-bass 6.5 speakers to install in my F150.

These are probably workable, but the mounting area is more like 3-7/16" - so a speaker with an actual 3-1/2" diameter will not fit without some modification. The inner diameter farther down is also a little snug, so getting wires on the speaker terminals will require some modifications to that as well.

Overall, not bad and the quality of the plastic is good. They just aren't a drop-in upgrade.

I got just the adapter plates for front 6x9 to 6.5 and the rear 6.5. Quality adapter plates. Good and thick. Solid mounting surface for the new speakers. Not like the cheaper ABS plastic adapters. One draw back for my installation (2016 Ford Explorer XLT) was that the pre drilled holes did not line up at all with the holes actually used by the factory speaker. While not a problem for myself but might be for others that are not good at fabrication (I.e. drilling new holes). In the end, the plates fit well with new holes drilled and better sound was achieved with better speakers.

used in a 2025 ranger, perfect fit, the access hole for the wiring is a nice bonus to make a seamless install.

I used Orion 300rms 1300max speakers and ran into two issues. First issue, the wire pass through was directly under the speaker mounting screw hole. I have to turn the speakers making them slightly crooked so I didnt run the screw through the wires. My ocd was really effected. Second the factory mounting screws where to short to go through the mounting plate. While this came with longer screws i ended up beveling each hole and used the factory screws. The factory screws are much more substantial in size and quality.

So happy I brought this kit. Everything fit perfect. Fit and finish is outstanding, and shipping was super fast..

After installing an awesome stealth plug and play system in my F150, I went to SGS for speaker adapters to upgrade my daughter's Ford Escape. The kit was complete and high quality as I would expect from SGS. Don was also very helpful in giving me advice on how to set the system up when I installed everything.

Very well built. I have the Karma 6x9 and. They are a little too big for the adapters. I made a template and trimmed it some with the router. I also purchased the 6 1/2” adapters and those worked great with no modifications needed, those speakers are Arc x2 6 1/2”. The extra 20 minutes of work that I put in was worth it. Great job SGS!
