All of the items on our store provide Free Shipping in the Contiguous United States (48). Sorry, Hawaii and Alaska, we still love you but need additional information and we will provide you an awesome shipping quote. Here at Sounds Good Stereo, we do not stock every item in the car stereo industry. At our manufacturing facility, sometimes it’s hard to predict out of stock items. With that being said, if the item is in stock, it will ship the same day. If the item happens to be out of stock, we will let you know and give you an accurate ETA on the arrival of your item. If we are custom building your item (Enclosures, System Packages, etc), it might take extra time to prepare your order depending on our workload, but rest assured, we are confident your patience will be worth the wait. Hand-Crafted Items / Packages

Estimating exact completion times can be challenging, as each package varies significantly in complexity. For example, a $20K package might require 16 hours of work, while a $3K package may only take 3 hours. With over 50 packages in progress at any given moment, providing precise timelines on the spot is difficult.

We are currently refining our communication to help clients understand the reasons behind these wait times. If an immediate turnaround is your top priority, a high-end shop like ours may not be the best fit—much like expecting a gourmet meal to be served instantly, or securing a coveted luxury item with no wait.

Although we acknowledge the long wait can be challenging, we believe the end result justifies the patience. Any questions, let us know.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Signtature Required

We require an adult signature on all of the items we ship to ensure the package is not lost or stolen which could potentially cause delays for your products. We can make some exceptions, but please call us before ordering.

In-Store Pickup

Live in the Nashville, TN area? If so, you can pick up your items at our facility. Be sure to call ahead to confirm if your item is in-stock and ready for pickup. More local pickup information can be found here

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

We ship to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Hawaii and Alaska Shipping

If you live in one of these states, you know shipping is not the same as being in the U.S. 48. But we want to help and provide you with the best price we can for your items. Please contact our team and we will provide you with an accurate shipping quote for your items.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Shipping Damages

We pack your items safely and to the best of our ability for its new journey to your doorstep. As you could imagine, shipping damage can happen. They might not be as gentle and caring as we are about your new items. While we will do our best, we cannot prevent items from being lost in transit or damaged by shipping companies playing soccer with your new item. But in this rare case that this happens, let us know immediately. We will work with you to file a claim and do everything in our power to ensure you receive the items you ordered, in the condition, you would expect. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods so we have the evidence we need to file the claim.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Sounds Good Stereo is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
