I purchased the amp rack for the f150 and whil talking to Don, he recommended doing sound deadening, specifically the door block off panels to improve the mid-bass in my truck. The panels as well as the sound deadening(I went with another brand) made a big difference. I highly recommend doing this to your truck if you have any kind of power running your speakers. System sounds even better. Thank you Don. They install in about 10 min (each door) or as fast as you can drill and put all the screws in.

Like the other parts I have bought from Sounds Good Stereo the fit and finish on this was outstanding. The door block off plates have helped with the midbass in the doors and helped with Noise reduction, along with sound deadening, to really quiet the cab down. Midbass response have improved significantly and I have a clean looking door. Installation on all four doors took me less than 30 minutes. Using a corded drill and carbide bits helped making the holes simple and easy.

If you are on the fence about buying these for your F150, DO IT!
They are not flimsy at all. Fits perfectly and the pre-drilled holes line up properly to avoid hitting anything behind it when you drill through. I installed these on all 4 doors along with the Soundmat and speaker foam rings. I only upgraded my door speakers and tweeters with Infinity Kappas with no amp and I have no sub woofer but the panels, sound mat and rings made a substantial difference in mid bass as well as really isolating the sound into the cabin and not getting lost inside the door cavity.

Fair price for the material, exceptionally easy to install, fit like a glove. Get it, it's worth it.
