Hey David, we sent you a email a few days ago regarding the tweeter adapters. In the email, we included mounting instructions from JL Audio on how to mount your tweeter into the adapter. Be sure to check your SPAM folder or reach out if you did not receive it.

Perfect mounting of a custom speaker solution!

When installing speakers all over my expedition, I found certain speakers did not fit or accept the same size mounting even though they are advertised as the same "socket hole" -- 3 1/2 for instance. With SGS help I was able to overcome my front 2 corner speaker fitments and then with this product, I was able to fit my JL c7 3.5" center speaker with a PERFECT fit. I was so excited to see how well engineered the simple mount piece was -- and rigid! I was able to pop 4 screws and mount the speaker to the plastic piece SGS sent me and then put it into the center console space. It even aligned with the small helper pins to line it up with the factory screw holes and center the device perfectly as if it was OEM! I couldn't be more impressed! I am now looking at my rear mount speakers thinking I may pull the trigger again so I get everything just right. Laser cut Tweeter Adapter

Great product! Excellent fit! Outstanding customer service!! I originally ordered the wrong size for my tweeters. I called and spoke to John, to inquire about sizing info and learned I had an older version. John and his team swiftly sent out the correct size with measurements I provided. That set came in damaged from the shipping co. I emailed John to inquire whether or not I had to file a claim with the shipping company. Fully expecting to have to file a claim. John quickly made it right by sending another set out. The final set came in undamaged. I instantly installed the tweeters. The fit was amazing and attached to the a pillar just like the factory ones. Hats off to the Sounds Good Team for providing outstanding customer service and producing and excellent product.

The part is a perfect fit for the truck and the tweeter. The best part is the service from SGS. UPS failed to deliver the product. All it took was one quick phone call to these guys, and a new part was en route. I will definitely stop by for Ford stereo equipment.

Let me start by saying the product itself is awesome, although I ordered mine too small for my tweeters, I had to grind out the inside diameter with a Dremel to make my tweeters fit, but once I did, they fit right into my pillars with ease and quite securely.
Now, it took almost 3 weeks to receive my item. After being stuck on “Label created, waiting on package to be picked up” I contacted customer service after a week and they informed me the package was lost and they would ship again the next day. After another week of waiting with the package still saying “label created” I contacted customer service again, this time I received no reply, just an email saying my package was finally shipped. 3 weeks to receive a tiny box that weighed next to nothing. Wasn’t happy.

Hey Rhett, thanks for the review. Shipping to Alaska is soemtimes a challenge and we try to use the best courier we can, UPS but even they lose packages. Sometimes it takes a while for UPS to admit the package is lost and once we hand the package to them, it's out of our hands on the transport. Hopefully, you can pass this not so perfect experience to UPS as they are the ones that caused this experience. Thanks

Product Description

Are you looking to upgrade your 2015+ Ford factory tweeters? If you're planning on using a 2-way component kit, then you need these tweeter adapters. Designed in-house, sold as a pair, and cut with a laser, these acrylic tweeter brackets will make your installation a breeze. They mount in the factory location, using the factory screws, and allow the fitment of several different tweeter sizes. Available in multiple sizes which will fit most tweeters, tweeters not included.

Important Size Details:
All sizes over 47mm require slight modification to the pillar, see photos for more information

Measure the tweeter mounting options including the flush cup, the flange of the tweeter, etc to find the correct size. If unsure, just send us a message with the tweeter you are planning to use.

Adding these focal flax 3 ways to my truck has made such an incredible difference in the audio quality of my truck. The range, tone, and clarity they add to the sound system makes this an absolute must!

Unreal sound in a complete package!

This is one unreal sounding package that includes it all! The quality increase from the factory B&O unleashed is massive. Perfectly crisp and bright highs, deep mellow mids, and a nice chest punch of base from the stealth box with one of the most eye appealing and neatly wired amp racks I have seen. Having everything neatly labeled with plug and play connections takes all of the guess work out of the install. The sound deadening and block off plates are a must and allows the system to play without interference. The focal flax speakers have a tone that is the perfect amount of warm and rich with a fantastic range. It's like getting to hear songs for the first time again with the tone and sounds that are now coming through with perfect clarity. The two 6.5" subs are nothing short of impressive for what they are. I'm amazed at the range they have, especially some of the deep lows and heavy Kicks's. This system plays every range of music to perfection whether you want the deep low thumps from rap, the quick chest pounding double bass from some metal, or the pure warm tones of a 70s guitar solo, this system keeps a smile on my face every time I turn it up.

Custom-made-6-5-inch-front-speaker-adapters- FOR LEXUS IS class

Researching the needed exact information for the replacement of speakers for Mark Levenson equipped 2017 Lexus IS 350 F sport AWD was a somewhat tough job. Front speakers are 3.5" ML coaxial crap and most suppliers note 4" speakers as replacements. I opted for coaxial Hertz CX100 for the left and right fronts and Hertz DCX100.3 for the center-channel front. Brackets must be removed as the Lexus is 2 bracket mount. Modifying the plastic dash lip towards the windshield is required on left and right locations to allow these speakers to sit flat. I single smaller tweeter could be used in these locations with SGS adapters but you would lose a good deal of mid-range. The front doors have 7.1" dia. 5.3 Ohm which is near impossible to match with anything quality. The SGS 6.5" adapters work perfectly with my chosen Focal's. You can also separate the adapter and run the speaker wire adapters through a small slot that SGS provided. Plan for multiple hrs to attach sound-deadening material properly. The rear doors can easily be handled by readily available;e adapter for 6.5" speakers. I chose Focal PC 165 FE Flax EVO 6.5's for both the front and rear doors.
Now I wish SGS made an adapter to use a shallow 8" sub to replace the ML crap sub. No one lists a sub replacement for the 7.8" 6-ohm sub and the easiest way to replace would be to strip the plastic raised brace from the existing sub carefully to use a mount 8" quality sub-replacement. I am dreading starting the sub-replacement project. Thank you SGS for the front door adapters!!!!

Excellent product with room for improvement!

I just installed the amp rack you make for the Silverado crew cab. It fit but just barely and I had to cut 4 of the studs on the back wall off. It would be nice if the holes were countersunk so the studs underneath amps and other equipment could be utilized to make sure it's rattle free. Other than that maybe center the holes on the studs better. I'm sure making one from scratch would be quite the pain so all in all worth the $$$.
