The sub box was the first thing I was after when putting my system together, and I checked out so many sub boxes... After weeks of searching high and low, I came across these under-seat boxes from SoundsGoodStereo.com and it was love at first sight! I almost pulled the trigger on the 4 6.5" Sundown in the same box but went with JL since that was what I've run the past 2 decades and it's all I knew. So far, I've been pretty impressed with these shallow woofers, and I've heard nothing but the same from the folks I've given demos to. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with how hard they hit, and sounding fantastic with everything I play! It certainly has been a nice change of pace with the ability to sound good with any song I pick. The ported boxes I've run in the past have been kinda sloppy in the low end for some tracks, so in that sense it's been a real treat. And for a diehard port guy, I'd say this sealed enclosure has opened my eyes to what's it's like on the other side lol

The enclosure itself is absolutely gorgeous too.. It was well worth the 3 month long wait, that's for sure! The craftsmanship is bar none, and it seamlessly blends in with my interior. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The LED lights on the front are controlled via the XKChrome app which is pretty dang cool as well! The icing on the cake🤌

I just received the amp rack today and I must say this is one of the nicest made amp racks I have seen, very heavy duty and sturdy rack. The finish on it is perfect for any build, gives a nice clean looking install

I utilized this harness with a JL Audio Stealthbox
on my 2020 F-250. Installation was simple and able to retain all other factory B&O components.
I wanted to upgrade the sub while retaining the stock stereo and speakers. I bought the JL Audio TW1-10 stealth box with a AudioControl 1.300 ACM amplifier, but this pre-tuned Kicker LOC was the key (pun intended) to the build.
This device is awesome. It plugs directly to the stock amp and allows you to add an aftermarket sub and amp combo. When I told my installer about this product, he was a bit skeptical. He was used to taking an off the shelf LOC or DSP and having to splice wires and do hours of tuning himself to make it compatible with the stock head unit. However these guys do all that "pain-in-the-ass" work for you. It is simple just plug and play.
I am using stock speakers and they sound great with the added sub. Full disclosure, my installer did have some issues initially connecting the LOC to the stock amp, as the fittings provided by SGS don't appear to fit. It was a bit of a stressful moment as I thought the project was stalled indefinitely. But a simple 3-way call with SGS and my installer cleared it up. A gentleman named Don from SGS talked to my installer, and said he had to cut off the connector they provided (I hope I am explaining this correctly, as I know nothing about audio electronics) and it would plug right in. After that, the install was seamless, and my stereo system sounds amazing. Highly recommend those who are looking to enhance their system on a moderate budget.
At first I was having trouble getting the Keyloc to power on. The harness supplied was perfect and exactly what I needed. The problem was that I was attempting to power the Keyloc with a bench top power supply powered by the truck's inverter. Once I had the Keyloc connected on the same ground path (without using the inverter) all was perfect. Great quality and great customer service. I highly recommend Sounds Good Stereo.
